The Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76) is home to talented, hard-working servicepeople that serve to preserve the United States’ alliances, partnerships, and maritime interests. Not everyone engages in combat – but all are ready to serve their country in different ways and at a moment’s notice.
In the image above, Specialist Seaman Jacob Leidengood from College Station has arrived aboard at Naval Base Kitsap in Bremerton, Washington. His mission is to transport Chemical, Biological, and Radiological equipment on board, and once they reach port. As with every serviceperson on board, he is responsible for protecting our country – and a genuine American hero.
